2025 Retiree-SEG Convention

The Washington, DC 2025 ACC-GTM convention will be inclusive and respectful of diverse creators and givers of music, who represent many backgrounds, talents, perspectives, and generations.  We will leave inspired with valuable insights and tools to strengthen us in our broad leadership roles in the Jewish community.  We will connect with joy and fun; feeling seen, heard, and loved.

Most programming will be held in our convention hotel. The location will be disclosed when you receive your registration confirmation. Hotel reservation information is also included in your confirmation email.

Registration Information

ACC and GTM Retired Members and SEG Member Rates are as follows
  • ACC or GTM Special Retiree Full Conference Registration ($325)
  • Retiree Tuesday-Wednesday (July 1-2) Only Special Module Registration Fee ($125)

Registration rates remain the same for retirees/SEG members until the deadline of May 31, 2025.

L’Atid Seminar: Looking to the Future

The American Conference of Cantors along with the ACC Retirement plan are pleased to offer the new L’Atid Seminar: Looking to the Future

Come learn about preparing for retirement with Fidelity, negotiating your last contract, and understanding what life can look like beyond the pulpit. It’s the perfect chance to ask the experts. Join us for an informative afternoon with lunch and friends beginning at 12 p.m. on Sunday, June 29 at our Convention Hotel. 
$18 per person

Hotel Information

Hotel reservation information will be sent in your confirmation email. Each participant is responsible for making their own hotel reservation in our hotel block. Our standard room rate is $230/night plus 15.95% tax. Rooms can be comfortably shared. Children age 17 or younger can stay in their parent's room at no charge. If you choose not to reserve a room in our block, and if you are not local to the DC-metro area or have an immediate family member in the area, you will be responsible to pay a fee of $265. 

Additionally. all registered participants will receive a separate registration form for the Tuesday afternoon Washington, DC tour options.

Donation Opportunities

Donors to each category will be listed and acknowledged in various ways including slides, program app, and onsite at the convention hotel. 
The 2025 journal slide show, formatted for a PowerPoint "widescreen 16:9" resolution slides. For half or quarter page slides, we reserve the right to adjust your dimensions to fit correctly in our layout. For single line congratulatory messages, please email the recipient's name and your name. Please email your slide(s) and congratulatory messages to adjournal@accantors.org no later than May 31, 2025. 

Meals

Full Conference Registration includes at least the following meals: Sunday evening welcome dessert reception, Monday breakfast, Tuesday breakfast, Wednesday brunch, and Wednesday dinner/concert. 

The Retiree/SEG 2-day registration includes Tuesday breakfast, Wednesday brunch, and Wednesday's dinner and concert. 

All meals are kosher style (no pork/shellfish, no dairy and meat mixed in the same dish). If you require Glatt kosher meals, please indicate your request in the boxes below. Please also list any other dietary restrictions and allergies not already listed in the check boxes. If you request a Glatt kosher or other special meal, you are required to alert your server of your needs. If you do not request a kosher meal in advance, you may not be accommodated as the meals are ordered based on registration. 

 

We have several opportunities where guests are invited to join our events both onsite and off-property.

   Wednesday Kolot Dorot Celebration Dinner and Concert ($180)

Participation Opportunities

Convention participation opportunities are an opportunity to showcase the best of the ACC and GTM. Worship at ACC/GTM conventions is integral; spiritual uplift, renewal, community building, and encountering the Divine are goals of Convention worship. Convention worship is envisioned and crafted according to the overall Convention theme. The honor of leading worship precludes singing a concert solo at the same convention. Those who register during early bird are given first priority. Primary t’filah leaders are ineligible to lead t’filah or sing a concert solo at Convention for the following three years.

The T'filah and Programming committees will do their best to include as many participants as possible. 

Because of the special nature of the Wednesday evening Kolot Dorot: Voices of the Generations concert, participation is managed outside of the convention registration process. 

The Fine Print

Registration Cancellation: After May 31, 2025, registration fees are refundable less a $75 processing fee. Registrations canceled as of June 1, 2025 are not refundable. Email convention@accantors.org for registration cancellation assistance.

Hotel Cancellation and Rate Policy: Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival will forfeit one night's room and tax. Room Rates shown do not include 15.95% Room Tax Per Night (subject to change). Total charges presented on the website will include all room fees and taxes. Children 17 years or younger will stay free of charge in their parent’s room.

Post convention refund requests must be made by July 31, 2025.
By checking the box "yes," I authorize the ACC/GTM Convention committee and their vendor of choice to record, duplicate, and sell my presentation(s) given at the ACC/GTM Convention. Electronic files may be made available on site and by mail order after the Convention to Convention attendees and ACC and GTM members. Further information will be available closer to the Convention. Should I choose not to be recorded, it is my responsibility to refrain from being on camera. I acknowlege that my request to volunteer may be denied based on the ability to record my participation. 
By registering for this ACC-GTM Convention, I acknowledge that I agree to be bound by the ACC Code of Ethics and the guidelines within the document. The Code of Ethics can be found on the ACC website.

If during my time at the Convention, I test positive for COVID, flu. or other communicable illness, I agree to adhere to the best public health policies and remain apart from other attendees until I am no longer contagious or test negative for illness. Trip insurance may be available to help recoup any additional costs. 
I acknowledge that although I am not local to the metro-DC area, I have chosen to pay the surcharge to stay outside of the convention hotel block. 

In addition to your 2025 Convention Registration, you are invited to deposit funds into your account for future conventions. Please indicate which conventions for which you anticipate using the funds.
